Replacing Old Front Crowns with All-Ceramic Crowns

This patient had been self-conscious about two front dental crowns that did not match the color and appearance of the surrounding natural teeth. After having the crowns for only a short time, portions of the porcelain fractured, revealing the metal underneath and making the restorations even more noticeable.

The existing crowns were carefully removed and replaced with custom all-ceramic dental crowns. Without a metal substructure to conceal, the new restorations could be designed to more naturally replicate the color, translucency, and appearance of the surrounding teeth.

The result was a more balanced, natural-looking smile and front teeth that blended seamlessly together.
