Replacing a Missing Front Tooth with a Dental Implant

This patient had a history of trauma to his right front tooth that eventually led to internal root resorption. When the tooth could no longer be saved, he faced the understandably difficult prospect of losing a highly visible front tooth.

The compromised tooth was carefully extracted and a dental implant was placed to replace the missing tooth while helping preserve the surrounding bone, gum tissue, and healthy adjacent teeth.

A customized abutment and single-tooth implant crown were then designed to blend naturally with his smile. The final result restored both function and appearance, giving the patient renewed confidence in his front tooth.
